Dwelling Paintings

Students will create an observational watercolor sketch of the dwelling they sculpted earlier. Students will practice watercolor washes, a split complement color palette, and increasing dimensionality by accentuating light and shadow.

This unit consists of six exercises, one final project, and a reflection.
