Distance Learning

There are different tracks you can choose from that correspond to different classes offered.
You can change tracks at the beginning of a week. If you change tracks, you start at the beginning of the new track.

Week-long Projects

Picture
These projects are the ones we would have done in school. On average, one composition is made per week, though sometimes it takes longer when research and planning is needed.

Short Projects

Picture
These projects are quick and playful. Making these projects won't take more than an hour, so you'll get through more in one week. That also means you'll be writing a bit more if you choose this track, because you write whenever you turn in a finished composition.

Drawing Projects

Picture
These projects are all drawing prompts, and will mostly focus on drawing (with some collage or color medium involved on occasion). These are also short projects, and are especially useful if you don't have much space to make art.

Emotional Projects

Picture
These projects will provide you an opportunity to visually express your feelings about our current lived reality and how it is affecting you.

Motion Projects

Picture
These projects are video editing and animation projects in two categories, short and long.

 Advanced Projects

Picture
These are projects for students who have mastered the basics and are ready for more challenging coursework.

Expectations

  • Create 1 - 2 works of art per week.
  • Turn in finished work to Google Classroom.
  • Include sentences using art specific vocabulary in the comments for every finished composition.
  • Post to the art wall or art wall two.
  • Comment on other students' artwork on the art wall and art wall two and art wall three.
