Drawing & PaintingThis is a great class to develop the skills that will help you be successful in all upper-level art classes. Your Introduction to Art class was exactly that, an introduction. In the Intermediate class, we will do fewer projects and invest more time in understanding the style, techniques, and materials used. We do some projects in a more classic or traditional style. We also do projects that relate to contemporary artists like the art that you see on art sites like Deviantart.com. Intermediate students are the students entering competitions and winning cash, local and national recognition. Intermediate art is where you explore your own style and develop the skills necessary to build your portfolio.
