PrintmakingPrintmaking involves transferring ink from one surface to another. Common materials for printing plates include wood blocks, linoleum, metal plates, soft rubber, and foam. In this project, we will use a foam printing plate.
Students will create seven prints; one multi-color print, one multi-colored print with collage, one print with colored pencil added, and four multi-colored postcards. The unit includes one exercise, three finished portfolio compositions, four finished postcards, a rubric and reflection. |
