PART TWO: OBJECT REFERENCE IMAGES

1.   Choose an object you would like to create 10 compositions about

  • YOUR OBJECT SHOULD LOOK VOLUMETRIC FROM MULTIPLE ANGLES (the more 3D it looks without needing to add value, the easier it will be)
  • BE ASYMMETRIC (looking different from multiple angles will give you more options when creating your compositions)
  • HAVE MORE THAN ONE VERSION OF ITSELF (Example: a kids tricycle, a mountain bike, a tandem two-person bicycle, large wheel/small wheel antique bike, etc.)
  • YOUR OBJECT MUST BE A REAL THING IN THE WORLD (photographable object in real space - not digital)

2.   Collect 10+ images of the object

  • YOUR TEN IMAGES MUST BE PHOTOGRAPHS OF REAL OBJECTS IN THE WORLD (not CGI)
  • CHOOSE IMAGES THAT SHOW THE OBJECT FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES
    • Straight on
    • Three-quarter
    • Profile
    • Low-Angle
    • High-Angle
  • CHOOSE DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF YOUR OBJECT
    • Example: Beach shack, Treehouse, Castle, Apartment building, etc.
