Architectural Collage & Ink Drawing

In this unit, students will create both a collage inspired by architecture and an ink collage cropped from the aforementioned collage.

The unit includes three exercises, two finished compositions, a rubric and reflection.

Final Composition: Line Drawing

This composition requires you crop your collage into an interesting composition, translate the three colored construction paper areas into three patterns with varying values, and practice varying line qualities. 
   You'll need:
  • Final Composition Paper (9"x12")
  • Ruler (1" left border, 1/4" side borders)
  • Ink Pen
  • Your finished collage composition
